The Duke Center for Precision Health (CPH) is a collaborative effort between CTSI and the Precision Genomics Collaboratory (PGC) that works to harness the power of genomic, biomarker, and health data to transform patient care and population health.
What We Do
CPH fuels clinical, translational, and basic science to serve as a foundational network for coalescing communities of Duke scientists. The center aims to expand clinical genetics, conduct clinically relevant translational research, perform cutting-edge implementation science, engage with and build trust in the community, and educate the workforce of tomorrow.

Key Initiatives
Duke Kannapolis
Duke Kannapolis functions as an engine to accelerate precision genomics and population health research. It features a diverse community of engaged research participants and a variety of research projects that focus on exploring, discovering, and validating biomarkers that may inform a deeper understanding of health and disease.
OneDukeGen
The OneDukeGen Genomic Sequencing Study and Biorepository is collecting biological samples to analyze DNA and other material, like RNA, to use in research related to a variety of diseases and conditions. The goal is to recruit at least 100,000 people to join. The more people who join, the better chance we have of finding new gene variants and understanding what the ones we already know about mean to our health.
MURDOCK Repository
The Measurement to Understand Reclassification of Disease of Cabarrus and Kannapolis (MURDOCK) Biorepository Transformation Initiative is a groundbreaking community-based longitudinal study that has recruited 12,526 participants from a 20-zip code region in the southeastern United States centered on the city of Kannapolis, NC, and encompassing Cabarrus County, NC. This is a unique opportunity for investigators to use biospecimens for research. Thousands of samples and associated clinical outcome data is available to all Duke researchers.
